MOTION CAPTURE
While the Convention is in progress, behind the scenes of the Tasso Theater in Sorrento the movements, gestures and expressions of an actress are rendered in real time to animate the 3D Avatars of the characters on the ledwall. Meanwhile, two actors lend their voices to the male characters, creating a live dialogue with the leaders of ENI.
TRACKING TOOLS
The interactive dialogue directly connects the 3D character on the screen with his interlocutor on stage, also involving the audience in the hall. This interaction is made possible by the combination of different tools:
- a suit with sensors that provides a full-body movement acquisition system
- gloves that integrate finger movements into the animation
- facial tracking that reconstructs the features of the face and its expressions in detail
This technology makes corporate communication extraordinarily successful and empathetic by bringing together real and virtual characters in the same place.
